From 1st July 2004, our ports will be required to comply with the requirements of the ISPS Code, which applies to all ships over 500 grt engaged in international voyages and all port facilities serving such ships.

The Code establishes a security regime within the port and is designed to prevent the incursion of any person or object, which may be a security threat with respect to terrorism.
